Olds Institute Mission Statement
“The Olds Institute is community owned and volunteer driven; empowering our community to achieve its goals and reach its full potential.”
Committees and The Role They Play
Communities are stronger through volunteering and engagement. Volunteering provides the opportunity to work jointly on programs and projects while achieving mutual goals and objectives. By fostering close ties between members in the community we build social cohesion through trust and mutual respect.
Olds Institute committees provide an opportunity for members of our community to contribute and make Olds the great place that it is.
We have twelve committees, including the board and governance committee. With 130 volunteers who contribute tens of thousands of hours of volunteer time to this organization the impact in the community is significant.
Our committees are diverse, open and inclusive. The Olds Institute committees are always looking to welcome new members who wish to contribute in achieving our mission.
