Local contributions recognized on international webinar
(Olds, AB – April 15, 2020) In the midst of the COVID-19 dynamics globally, on the local level the residents and business operators in Olds and area have a top-notch resource at their fingertips, according to Destination Development Association founder, Roger Brooks.
Olds Institute, its business and community directory site Everything Olds, and the Town received glowing praise from Brooks on his April 8 webinar, “Keeping the Dream Alive”. He used the Everything Olds and Olds Institute websites as stellar examples of providing support to those in the industry.
“For all of you in Canada, I think Olds Alberta has done a fantastic job of not just showing what’s available in the province, but also showing what’s available across Canada.”
— Roger Brooks, Destination Development Association.

“I think Olds has done a great job talking to the industry,” Brooks concluded.
Brooks also commended the Town of Olds website for their COVID-19 banners drawing visitors to further municipal information and programs, and their diligence in date-stamping updates on their site.
