What is the Olds Connected Community Committee Cyber Seniors Project?
The Connected Community Committee of the Olds Institute, the Olds Library, and the Olds High School have partnered up to bring this program to its residents. The goal of this campaign is to inspire older adults to tackle the digital divide and encourage tech savvy youth to make a difference in their community. We aim to spark a conversation about tech literacy and stimulate action through intergenerational collaboration and the use of technology.
The Olds Institute was formed in 2001 by community leaders who realized they could achieve more together than they could apart. It is governed by a volunteer board of directors representing their four founding members and includes members of the community at large.
